Section 790.001; "Self-defense chemical sprays" are legal. Stated: "a device carried solely for purposes of lawful self-defense that is compact in size, designed to be carried on or about the person, and contains not more than two ounces of chemical"

Section 790.054; Restriction from using chemical sprays on police officers.

To sum it up... Legal for self defense, restriction from using it on police officers (common sense!)
