Tear Gas

Triple action sprays, combine CN Tear Gas and OC Pepper with an identifiable UV Marking Dye. OC Pepper causes the attackers eyes to close and makes them cough uncontrollably. The CN causes a lot of tearing, a severe burning sensation among the face, and confusion. UV Dye marks the attacker and will help in identification once he is captured.

Tear gas is a non fatal chemical weapon that is also known as a lachrymatory agent. Even though it is called tear ‘gas’ it is actually a kind of fine acid powder. The effects include blurriness of vision, tearing (as the name suggests) and even temporary blindness. It also leads to respiratory issues along the line of coughing, sneezing and breathing difficulties.

It is generally used by law enforcement to subdue riots or for crowd control. It has also been used in the past for chemical warfare and was prominently used during the First World War. It was first used during World War I and is now employed by law enforcement because it can flush out suspects, control mobs and riots without having any deadly long lasting effects.

The reason that it is so effective is because it contains strong chemicals that cause detrimental effects to those they are used on, thereby incapacitating them and allowing them to be restrained. In the hands of the right people it is a perfect tool but it can also be used by the wrong people which is what makes it as dangerous as it is effective.

The main advantage of these products is that it does not need to be aimed directly at the target since it is a gas like vapor that is likely to hit a larger number of people. It is in the form of fumes making it more likely to spread very easily. The effects of it also last longer as compared to pepper spray making it more advantageous.

The two most commonly used gases are chloroacetophenone and chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile. Mace is made chiefly of chloroacetophenone which causes eye problems.  Chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile on the other hand is responsible for causing respiratory issues and forcing eyes to close.

People who have been exposed to tear gas may face a variety of symptoms in different parts of the body; eyes tend to tear up, swell up, become inflamed and burn,  one can feel irritation in the mouth in the form of excessive drooling and have difficulty swallowing, nose gets runny and burns, the skin might erupt in rashes, symptoms might manifest in the form of vomiting and nausea and difficulty breathing and coughing are almost guaranteed after being exposed to it.
