How to file a Police Report when assaulted or attacked:
Filing a police complaint can be a harrowing experience for an attack or assault victim, more so if the victim is a woman. Many women don’t report such cases owing to societal pressure and continue to be a victim. At times the assailant may be a known person or a relative and that makes the situation worse. The mental trauma though, may vary from person to person depending on the severity of the attack and assault they were subjected to, however filing a police report could be comparatively easy if you report early.
