Two well-known bear pepper sprays to keep you safe.
We currently carry two of the best bear bear sprays. Does pepper spray work on bears? Absolutely. They are made specifically to deter bears, but they will also work deter other animals. You can also use bear mace on humans. Both of our models are approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This means that you don't have to feel bad using these sprays because it is not bad for the environment.
Both of our bear sprays are non-lethal. You don't have to worry about causing any permanent or serious damage. We have to understand that most times when you see a wild animal, they are looking to survive, protect their cubs, or they may even live there.
Also, did you know that bear spray is proven to be more effective than firearms?
Law Officials that work for the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service have proven this to be true. Since 1992, they have conducted investigations of bear related attacks with humans. The results? People defending themselves against grizzlies with a firearm suffer injury about 50% of the time. Taking the same time span, people that used pepper spray in the same scenario escaped injury most of the time, and of the ones that suffered injuries actually had not as great of injures as the people who used a firearm. These bear pepper sprays are extremely easy to use... all you have to do is slide off the safety cap and shoot! But please, make sure you know how to use it properly. Be sure to read the specifications of the can so that you know how far you can be from the bear and how long it will last. Remember, short squirts are usually more effective than long blasts.
